The UGA Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) is coordinating with the UGA Health Center with planning and logistical assistance should UGA have a Coronavirus case(s) on campus. OEP maintains the campus Pandemic Response Plan and is working with campus departments who have roles and responsibilities in the plan to be ready to respond to potential Coronavirus cases.
UGA departments can utilize the UGA Department Coronavirus Planning Checklist to assist in their efforts to plan for the Coronavirus.
Also, the OEP encourages UGA departments to have a business continuity plan in place to prepare for possible employee absences, cross-training for job duties and fiscal, academic and research continuity. OEP can assist with a department business continuity plan generator and business continuity plan checklist.
